She originally booked her boudoir experience as a surprise for her partner of more than 11 years.
But as her session got closer, she realized she wanted to do it for herself too.
“He is the reason I felt confident and secure enough to do this in the first place.”
She first found The Amour Vixen through a Facebook contest, then started looking through the website and photos.
“The photos were incredible, and I noticed the studio was local, so I decided to put my name in.”
After joining the Facebook community and getting a better feel for the studio, she knew she had made the right choice.
So let’s fast forward to before the session……
Like a lot of our clients, she had plenty of nerves leading up to the day.
She worried about feeling vulnerable, whether she had prepared enough, and whether her photos would turn out the way she hoped.
But that changed quickly.
“All of that was gone the second I walked through the door.”
She was greeted by the team, got settled in, and immediately started feeling more comfortable.
“At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. They wanted me to be as comfortable as possible through the entire process.”
From finding lingerie in the client closet to hair and makeup, the day started becoming fun instead of intimidating.

During her shoot, Janae guided her through every pose while the team kept the atmosphere relaxed and encouraging.

The hardest part was narrowing down her favorites for her album and wall art.
“I am completely obsessed with the experience, my photos, my album choice, and wall art.”
